scRNA-seq tools: A Quick Survey (May - July 2023)

We are currently working on a pipeline for the aggregation and sharing of heterogeneous ascidian scRNA-seq datasets. Our goal is to provide free scRNA-seq data exploration tools, including APIs and interfaces, to query both public and personal datasets from once place and explore them visually. We aim to adapt the tools we develop to suit the needs of the tunicate community, which is why we would like to ask you:
- about the data file format you use & your pipeline (if you intend to generate scRNA-seq data and include it in ANISEED)
- about the different features you would like to see included in the tools we will be developing (if you intend mining ANISEED datasets)
We appreciate you taking a couple of minutes to answer these questions here: https://www.aniseed.fr/survey.html
We look forward to your input.

P-S: The information you share is anonymised before processing. Your name and e-mail will NOT be published among the results of this survey.

International Symposium on Women in Tunicate Biology - March 28 and 29th

Organizers : Anna Di Gregorio (adg13@nyu.edu) and Marie Nydam

« Online symposium dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of women to the field of tunicate biology: the symposium will be held online via Zoom on March 28-29, 2023.

With the help of the tunicate community, we will reconstruct and highlight the research carried out by women scientists of the past. We will also honor recently retired female scientists and mentors and we will conclude with presentations of ongoing research projects by principal investigators and their trainees.

All tunicate researchers are invited to participate, and all are welcome to provide names, ideas, stories, write-ups, and other helpful information on women who have advanced this field of biology throughout the years with their research, teaching, mentoring, and related initiatives. »

ANISEED has migrated! (Dec 2022)

Did you notice the new domain name (www.aniseed.fr)? We have also done a complete server migration, including a change of web hosts, a system upgrade and a data transfer. Since then, we have been working on adapting the platform to the new server configuration and infrastructure. This upgrade should meet the evolving technical requirements of ANISEED and ultimately provide you with a faster, more stable and more secure platform. Feel free to report any (old or new) bug you may encounter via the feedback button that is on the left side of your screen. The sooner we are made aware of a bug we may have missed, the sooner we can find a solution for it. We will be working on new modules as well to implement in ANISEED to make your experience on the website more wholesome.
