Construct containing the region upstream of Ci-Nut1 from -123bp to 94bp, this region is the minimal enhancer for Nut expression. This region was inserted into the promoter of Venus reporter gene. The second ZicL site was mutated in this construct, the mutations lead to a reduced expression in neural tube (construct named ZicL2(m245) in the paper).
