Construct containing the region upstream of Ci-Nut1 from -123bp to +94bp, this region is the minimal enhancer for Nut expression. This region was inserted into the promoter of Venus reporter gene. Moreover in this construct the first ZicL binding site was mutated, the neural tube expression was reduced but not lost (construct named ZicL1(m6) in the paper).
