region from -1299bp to +83 upstream Ci-RhoD/F gene. The FoxF and Ets1/2 regulatory motifs were absent. The complete cis regulatory region drives RhoD expression in notochord, TVC, muscles and mesenchyme. Here, the absence of the regulatory motifs abolish expression in notochord, and TVC.
