construct named DeltaBSn in the paper. This construct includes the 658bp of the 5 flanking sequence of the Ci-ZicL promoter region to codon 7 with an internal deletion between the -295bp to -205bp. This transgene was expressed in B6.2 and B6.4 cells, but not in A6.2 and A6.4 cells. This construct lacks the two putative Fox-binding site Fox-2 and Fox-3. The region between the deletion is needed to the expression in A6.2 and A6.4 cells at the 32-cell stage.
