this construct contains the CiHox3 cis-regulatory region from -3kb to the first +174 bp. Expression is observed in the anterior region of the developing nervous system in the early tail-bud stage embryo. Then is observed in the visceral ganglion and ectopically in the sensory vesicle in the tadpole stage (construct named 3.0 in the paper).
