this construct contains the Ci-Bra cis regulatory region from -483bp to the first 17 codons deleted for the second Snail DNA binding site (Sna2:-222/-214). Mutation of this Snail DNA binding site results in the lost of repression of the transgene in tail muscle. Comparing the two deletion in Sna1 and Sna2 DNA binding sites suggest that there are both required for efficient repression. The nucleotide +1 taken in reference corresponds to the first codon.
