this construct contains the Ci-Bra cis regulatory region from -483bp to the first 17 codons that drives a notochord-specific pattern of expression, although it appear to be a loss in the level of expression as compare to the "full-length" 3.5kb cis regulatory region. Moreover this fragment also occasionally shows expression in the mesenchyme. The nucleotide +1 taken in reference corresponds to the first codon.
