This construct contains the -1098 bp of the 5 flanking Ci-NPP promoter sequence to the -50 bp. It was cloned into a reporter gene containing the minimal Ci-Fkh promoter region and lacZ. Expression is restricted to the endoderm and trunk ventral cells as seen for the endogenous gene.

Be careful, coordinates in the paper are different from ANISEED coordinates. We took the KH transcript model as reference.
