Description

This 96bp fragment is located upstream (-2559/-2440) of Rx (KH.C12.152) and is highly conserved between Ciona savigny and Ciona robusta. When cloned upstream the human β-globin basal promoter and LacZ reporter gene, it has no enhancer activity.
