Sequence derived from Ciona robusta cosmid library RZPD 119 (Burgtorf et al., 1998) also described in (Ferrier and Holland, 2002). This region covers 3857bp upstream of Gsx TSS and 11bp downstream. 98% percent sequence homology between cosmid-derived sequence compared to the reference genome (Cirobu.REG.KH2012.C2.5506855-5510677|Gsx) except that there is a 55bp insert in the cosmid sequence (in small letters) relative to the reference genome. This sequence corresponds to -1452 to -1398 of the pGsx[-3857,+11] sequences and is at position KH2012.C2.5509258 in the reference genome.
